Tenika grew up in Wingham and has lived in the Manning Valley for most of her life.
Tenika obtained Bachelor’s Degrees in Forensic Science and Law (LLB) (Hons) at Bond University on the Gold Coast in February 2015. She joined the Walker Legal team prior to completing the Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice and was admitted to the NSW Supreme Court in April 2016.
Whilst obtaining her tertiary qualifications, Tenika gained practical experience with a variety of governmental and private firms working in commercial and corporate law, criminal law, mental health and administrative law. During her study, she completed several placements with community advocacy groups providing legal assistance to disadvantaged or vulnerable individuals.
As a graduate solicitor, she is flexible and responsive to the needs of her clients and aims to provide realistic and effective advice. She assists in matters before the Local Court, including representation for criminal pleas and sentencing, and works alongside her colleagues in a wide range of legal matters including wills and estates, compensation and personal injury, contractual disputes and family law. She is currently a member of the NSW Legal Aid Family Law Panel and Criminal Law Panel.
